This unique handmade jewel needs to be cared for. When treated well, it will last a lifetime. Remove your precious piece before swimming, physical activity and showering as prolonged exposure to water can affect the integrity of the opal. To clean the opal, simply wipe with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent (never immerse in water). To clean the silver, wiping it with a silver polishing cloth will help to eliminate tarnish. It is best to store your jewels in the jewellery box they arrive in or a pouch.
